WOD & Barbell Club: Tuesday, June 17

Barbell Club,

This is Week 2 of our 12-week Summer Cycle.

As I mentioned in last Tuesday’s post, weeks 1-4 are the Volume Phase of the Cycle.

Although the program will be the same for these 4 weeks, your goal should be to increase your working weight each week on both the big lifts and the accessory movements.

Barbell Club:

This is Week 1 of our 12-week Summer Cycle.

Weeks 1-4 are the Volume Phase of the Cycle. The goals of this phase are to build base strength and hypertrophy.

For the big lifts, you will see rep ranges of 6-8, and if a percentage is not prescribed, you should be working in the 65-75% range, with the goal of increasing your working weight week over week.

Accessories will stay the same for these 4 weeks.
