A new powerlifting block starts today.
If you don’t have 1 rep maxes for your lifts, that’s ok.
Today’s working sets are all at 80% (the first 3 sets of squats are warm-up sets). Reps at 80% should feel like an RPE 7-8 (RPE=Rate of Perceived Exertion on a scale of 1-10).
If you’re starting this cycle and you haven’t lifted for a while, start conservatively. Focus on form and technique FIRST, and then we can worry about putting more weight on the bar.
