New Barbell Club cycles start today!
If you are interested in focusing on improving your lifts, then you should definitely jump in on this programming.
There are 3 workouts a week for both Powerlifting and Weightlifting; talk to a coach if you want to figure out how to incorporate these programs into your routine and still do the group classes as well.
The Weightlifting program is percentage-based. If you don’t have 1RM’s for the lifts, ask your coach how to proceed.
The Powerlifting program is not percentage-based, but we will be doing the same sets and reps for the first 4 weeks, and you’ll be expected to add weight each week. This does not mean you should start with something incredibly easy, but you should not plan to hit a 5RM on week 1. Again, ask your coach if you need guidance.
